Mark your calendars for back to school night on August 22!

Yesterday our 4th grade read a story about illustrators and shared about what brought them joy this week. Then, the students were tasked with “illustrating” their own pictures to inspire and spark joy to others driving/walking by. 😊

Students are working hard this last week of summer school. We have addition, multiplication, fractions, open number lines, and more happening!

Our Kindergarten and 1st grade has been working with their solar crickets. One of the things they did was to build a bridge across water. Today they had to test their bridge and make any adjustments needed if the cricket was having trouble making it over the water.

Our 2nd-4th grade have been working on creating their own stadiums and games using a variety of materials such as magnets and levers. Today they also created a real life game and played it in the gym. Check out these photos!

Online verification will open on August 8th. At that time you will be able to finish registration for your student, plus see schedules and teacher names. Check out the list of things you can get started before August: https://www.siouxcityschools.org/article/1152810

Students are busy working on math, phonemic awareness, and writing this morning!
