Our K-2 students were partnered with our 3rd-5th grades to help encourage them for the start of the ISASP tests. Check out some of the posters and activities they did to help encourage our students.
We start with the Math Assessment tomorrow. Be sure to remind your students to "Power Up" by getting a good nights sleep, going to bed early, and eating a good breakfast in the morning.
Check out our 2nd grade friends in Ms Amsberry and Mrs. Edwards' classrooms. Some students are sharing their math, thinking with the class to solve a given problem. Others are working on measurement and are using their desks and or textbooks to practice their skills.
On Monday, representatives from the AEA came to present more information about Morning Meeting to our teachers. Morning Meeting is just one way that we work to create classroom communities throughout the day.

Each year on March 21st, people all around the world come together to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day by wearing brightly colored, mismatched socks. March 21 is symbolic because people with Down Syndrome have 3 copies of their 21st chromosome.
